Nicola Tonsager is a Soul Channel, Energy Expert and Founder of Soul Signatures® - a channelled approach for personal transformation, soul embodiment and the expansion of human potential.
For more than 30 years, Nicola has worked with spirituality, energy and consciousness, bringing together intuitive wisdom, soul connection, energetic intelligence and grounded, lived transformation.
At the heart of her work is a desire to make the deeper intelligence of soul something we can not only access, but understand, trust and embody within everyday life. That changes us beyond words and it also ripples into the world.

My relationship with spirituality and soul began long before Soul Signatures® had a name.
How Soul Signatures® were created
Soul Signatures® emerged from commitment to understanding soul, to exploring its full embodiment and through my own channelled relationship with soul, energy and consciousness. The eleven Soul Signatures® give language and structure to something I had experienced, something I had known, for many years: that soul is not calling us towards a destination or fixed purpose.
For more than 30 years, I have explored energy, consciousness, intuition, soul connection and our relationship with the unseen. I have trained, taught, channelled, mentored and worked across a wide range of spiritual, energetic and personal transformation practices.
Beneath all of my work always been a simple question: How do we actually live what we know at soul level? How do we embody soul within the human experience fully?
How do we take moments of profound connection, intuitive knowing, spiritual understanding and glimpses of something greater, and allow them to change the way we live, choose, trust, speak, love and lead?
That question is deeply personal to me: there was a time in my life when I was profoundly disconnected from myself. I experienced years of chronic depression and carried a persistent feeling that I didn't belong. Through a specific experience, I felt soul as a tangible energy - something real - and that led me to recognise that belonging wasn't something I could search for outside myself.
I had to choose to belong to myself first. That became one of the defining thresholds of my life - and not because everything suddenly became easy (it didn't!), but because I began developing a different perspective and relationship with myself. A relationship rooted increasingly in truth, self-trust and the willingness to live, and honour, what I knew within me.
That is why embodiment has become so central to everything I do. We aren't here simply to accumulate spiritual knowledge, not to intellectualise growth or healing. Nor do I believe our humanity is something we need to transcend in order to become more spiritual.I
We are here to bring the human and the divine together. To allow soul to move through the reality of being human and to enable intuition inform ordinary decisions. To let truth shape our choices and to ensure spirituality become visible in how we live. To develop the capacity to remain with ourselves, deeply and assuredly, through uncertainty, change and expansion.
How Soul Signatures® were created
Soul Signatures® emerged from commitment to understanding soul, to exploring its full embodiment and through my own channelled relationship with soul, energy and consciousness. The eleven Soul Signatures® give language and structure to something I had experienced, something I had known, for many years: that soul is not calling us towards a destination or fixed purpose.
Soul is continually inviting us into particular qualities of being. Through Soul Signatures®, we can begin to recognise the energetic experience soul is asking us to embody within a particular moment, life experience or stage of our personal transformation. When we recognise that in every moment, soul is encouraging an embodiment of some sort, we change our relationship with personal and spiritual development. We move away from constantly searching outside ourselves for answers and we naturally gravitate towards a deeper relationship with our own soul intelligence, intuition, truth and inner authority.
My Vision for Soul Signatures®
Today, my role is both the Founder and steward of Soul Signatures®. My desire is not simply for people to learn Soul Signatures® but for them to be lived. For Soul Signatures® to provide an accessible bridge between spiritual wisdom and everyday life, and in doing to to help us understand ourselves and our experiences differently, recognise the divine intelligence within what life is presenting to us, trust ourselves more deeply and become less dependent upon external answers. Ultimately, my vision is for Soul Signatures® to contribute to a deeper way of being human: one in which spirituality is not separate from life, intuition is innately part of how we navigate it, and the relationship between soul and human experience becomes something we consciously live. The transformation our world needs doesn't begin with becoming someone else.; it begins with becoming beautifully, deeply available to the full truth we hold, and then having the courage to live it.

Nicola Tonsager brings more than 30 years of experience in spirituality, energy work, personal transformation and consciousness to the development and teaching of Soul Signatures®.
She is the bestselling author of Being Soul Confident, host of the Being Soul Confident podcast, holds a Certificate in Education and is a certified Deep Structure NLP Coach Practitioner, as well as holding a range of diploma level qualifications in various holistic practices.
Alongside her own teaching and mentoring work, Nicola has trained practitioners across holistic and spiritual disciplines and now trains and certifies Soul Signatures® Ambassadors to embody and facilitate the Soul Signatures® methodology.
